About Amerigo Health

Our name, our mission: charting the new world of health

We are named for a cartographer who insisted on measuring what others were content to imagine.

I · From Myth To Measurement

In the age of exploration, maps were filled with sea monsters and invented coastlines. Amerigo Vespucci's contribution was not courage. Plenty of men had that. It was insistence on measurement: latitude taken properly, coastlines recorded as they actually were, a willingness to say this is a new continent when the consensus said otherwise.

Health today looks a great deal like a fifteenth-century map. Confident lines drawn from very little data. Whole territories marked unknown. Advice inherited rather than measured.

Our own coastline is part of that story. Florida is where a European expedition once went looking for a fountain of youth and came back with a legend instead. We are turning that legend into a modern reality through science, measurement, and deliberate action.

Your map and compass for modern exploration

The modern tools for your expedition already exist. Advanced lab testing is your map of the terrain within, biomarker tracking is your compass pointing toward progress, and evidence-based guidance on fitness and nutrition is your navigator. Our work is helping you read all three.

The instruments have finally caught up to the ambition. Continuous glucose monitoring, advanced lipid fractionation, DEXA body composition, VO₂ max testing, and the current generation of metabolic therapeutics give us a resolution on individual health that did not exist a decade ago. What has not caught up is the interpretation: the connective work of turning a hundred data points into a heading.

That is the work we do.

II · What We Believe

Four convictions that shape everything we build

  • Conviction 01

    Measurement precedes intervention

Nothing worth doing begins without a baseline. A recommendation that cannot be checked against a number is an opinion, and we are not in the opinion business.

  • Conviction 02

    Healthspan, not lifespan

Years added at the end are worth little. The goal is compressing decline: arriving at eighty with the strength, cognition, and metabolic function of someone considerably younger.

  • Conviction 03

    The individual holds the map

We are genuinely interested in putting every individual back in charge of their health journey. Our role is navigator, not captain.

  • Conviction 04

    Evidence over enthusiasm

Longevity attracts more excitement than rigor. We adopt new tools when the data supports them and say so plainly when it does not.

III · Leadership

Charting the route

Amerigo Health is led by its co-founder, who spent two decades building and running companies before turning that work to prevention.
